Shipping policy

Shipping Policy – Lumexa Decor (Legally Binding Terms)

This Shipping Policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions of Lumexa Decor (“Seller,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By placing an order on our website, you (“Customer,” “Buyer”) agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Order Acceptance & Processing

All orders are subject to verification, acceptance, and availability.

  • Standard products are processed within 3–5 business days
  • Custom, made-to-order, or oversized items require 7–12 business days (or longer where specified)

Processing time begins after successful payment authorization and excludes weekends and public holidays.

Lumexa Decor reserves the right to delay, cancel, or refuse any order at its sole discretion, including but not limited to suspected fraud, pricing errors, or logistical limitations.


2. Production Nature of Products

Certain products sold by Lumexa Decor are:

  • Made-to-order
  • Custom-finished
  • Produced upon confirmed purchase

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that such items:

  • Are not pre-stocked mass inventory
  • Require dedicated production time
  • May not be eligible for immediate dispatch

This production model constitutes valid fulfillment under payment network policies and does not qualify as “non-shipment.”


3. Shipping & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines provided are estimates only, not guarantees.

  • Standard shipping: 7–18 business days after dispatch
  • Timelines may vary depending on:
    • Destination country
    • Product size or customization
    • Carrier capacity and external conditions

Failure to meet estimated delivery dates does not constitute grounds for chargebacks, disputes, or claim of non-delivery.


4. Fulfillment & Shipping Origin

Orders may be shipped from any of our global fulfillment facilities, including but not limited to:

  • United States
  • China
  • Spain
  • Germany

The shipping origin is determined based on inventory availability, production requirements, and logistics efficiency.

By placing an order, you explicitly consent to international shipping where applicable.


5. Transfer of Responsibility

Once an order is:

  • Dispatched, and
  • Handed over to a third-party courier

Risk of loss, delay, or damage transfers to the customer, subject to applicable law.

Lumexa Decor:

  • Does not control courier operations
  • Is not liable for transit delays, lost packages, or damages caused by shipping carriers

However, we may assist in filing claims or investigations at our discretion.


6. Tracking & Proof of Shipment

  • All orders include valid tracking information
  • Tracking details are provided via email and/or SMS upon dispatch

Tracking confirmation issued by the courier constitutes:

  • Proof of shipment
  • Proof of fulfillment

Such proof is considered valid evidence in dispute resolution, including payment processor reviews (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, banks).


7. Multi-Stage & Split Shipments

Certain orders may be fulfilled in:

  • Multiple packages
  • Multiple stages (including international transit + local courier delivery)

Customers acknowledge that:

  • Separate tracking numbers may be issued
  • Delivery may occur in parts and at different times

This does not constitute incomplete fulfillment.


8. Customs, Duties & Import Regulations

For international shipments:

  • Customs duties, taxes, and clearance fees may apply
  • These charges are solely the responsibility of the customer

Failure to pay customs fees may result in:

  • Shipment delays
  • Return or abandonment of goods

No refunds will be issued for refused or abandoned shipments due to unpaid duties.


9. Address Accuracy & Delivery Failures

The customer is solely responsible for providing:

  • Accurate shipping address
  • Correct contact details

Lumexa Decor is not liable for:

  • Failed deliveries due to incorrect address
  • Unclaimed shipments
  • Delivery refusal

Reshipping may incur additional charges.


10. Non-Delivery Claims

Claims of non-delivery must be reported within:

  • 7 days of the last tracking update or expected delivery window

Failure to notify within this timeframe may result in denial of the claim.

If tracking confirms delivery, the order is considered successfully fulfilled, and no chargeback or refund will be entertained.


11. Force Majeure

Lumexa Decor shall not be held liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • War, strikes, or civil unrest
  • Government restrictions
  • Pandemics or global supply chain disruptions

12. Dispute & Chargeback Policy

By completing a purchase, you agree that:

  • You will contact Lumexa Decor to resolve any issue before initiating a chargeback
  • Filing a chargeback without first attempting resolution constitutes a violation of this agreement

We reserve the right to:

  • Submit all evidence (including tracking, communication records, and policy acceptance)
  • Dispute fraudulent or invalid chargebacks to the fullest extent permitted by law

13. Policy Acceptance

By placing an order with Lumexa Decor, you:

  • Confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Shipping Policy
  • Accept all timelines, conditions, and responsibilities outlined herein
